Care Guide
General Rules for All Jewelry
Keep your jewelry away from harsh chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and cleaning products.
Always put your jewelry on last when getting ready and take it off first before any activity.
Store each piece separately to avoid scratching and tangling.
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping.
Sterling Silver & Vermeil
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time due to exposure to air and moisture, but with proper care it stays beautiful for years.
Daily Care: Wipe your piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and moisture. Avoid contact with sulfur-containing products like rubber bands, eggs, or wool, as they speed up tarnishing.
Cleaning: Use a mild dish soap diluted in warm water. Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry completely before storing. Never use abrasive cloths or toothpaste, as they can scratch the surface.
Storage: Store in an airtight zip bag or an anti-tarnish pouch away from humidity and direct sunlight. Adding a small anti-tarnish strip to your storage box helps significantly.
CZ & Moissanite Stones
Both cubic zirconia and moissanite are durable stones but can lose their sparkle if not cared for properly.
Cleaning: Soak briefly in warm soapy water and use a soft toothbrush to gently clean around the setting and under the stone where oils and dirt accumulate. Rinse well and dry completely. This brings back the sparkle beautifully.
Avoid: Ultrasonic cleaners for plated settings, as they can loosen stones and damage the finish. Chlorine and bleach will also damage both the metal and the stones.
Storage: Store flat or in a way that prevents stones from scratching against other pieces.
Diamonds care guide
Diamonds, natural or lab-created, are made to endure.
But the metal that holds them deserves thoughtful care.
Whether set in silver or gold, your piece is crafted to be worn often. Proper care ensures brilliance, longevity, and structural integrity over time.
Cleaning: Mix lukewarm water with a few drops of mild dish soap.
Soak your piece for 15–20 minutes.
Gently brush around the stone and setting using a soft toothbrush.
Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
Handmade Beaded Jewelry
Beaded pieces are crafted with care and require a little extra attention to keep them looking their best.
Handling: Always handle gently and avoid pulling or stretching elastic or thread-based pieces. Putting them on and taking them off carefully extends their life considerably.
Water & Moisture: Keep beaded jewelry completely away from water, sweat, and humidity. Natural stones and certain beads can crack, fade, or lose their finish when wet. Some beads can also cause the thread or elastic to weaken and break over time.
Cleaning: Wipe individual beads gently with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Never submerge beaded pieces in water. For stubborn dirt between beads, use a dry soft brush.
Storage: Lay flat in a soft-lined box or a separate pouch. Avoid hanging beaded bracelets or necklaces for long periods, as gravity can stretch the stringing material over time.
